Not every story starts with words on a page. This platform was designed for people living
with disability who may find text-first storytelling limiting. You can share your story by
writing, speaking, using photos or creating a video.

Read this simple guide to learn about the website and how you can share your story.
We’re three university students, two studying Arts and one studying Commerce, who met through a group project and turned a class assignment into something we actually care about.
My Story, My Voice is built around the choices of people living with disability, not a fixedway of telling your story.
You decide how to respond, who sees it, and whether your name is attached. Nothing is published without checking with you first.
Tell your story however feels right. Write it, record audio or video, take a photo, use a prompt if you’d like one.
Decide if your story stays private or is shared on the site, and whether your name appears or it's shared anonymously.
Upload your story through the form. It's simple, and you can save your preferences as you go.
Nothing goes live automatically. If you've chosen to share, we'll confirm with you before it's published. Your consent stays in your control.
Read, listen to, and view stories shared by people in our community, told in their own way and on their own terms
Have a question about sharing your story, or something else on your mind? Reach out to our team.
A member of our team, Sarah, Lexis, or Georgie, will respond as soon as they can.
The language on this website is written for the people who will use it, not as an academic submission. We’ve kept it simple, warm, and accessible on purpose, in line with our project’s commitment to accessible, plain language design.
