Our interview veteran. Yeah. So, as usual, let’s start with your first and last name, and also, let’s do your footy club. Okay. Ready. Let’s go. Go for it. Uh, my name is Kyron Timms. I’m from the Fremantle CBC Football Club. Yeah, beautiful, and then maybe, Kyron, tell me about how, ’cause you’ve been at CBC for a while, a very long time now, and your brother’s there, too. Tell me about why you joined Fremantle CBC and when that was- Hmm … and a bit about that journey and your team. Okay. Um, back in 2010, and, um, uh, when I was young, at 17, I had no op- opportunities. Um- And why did you have no opportunities? You said- Since I left school, I had no friends, and fortunately, my mum brought me, “Now there’s a new integrated football. Um, come and try those,” in 2010. Wow. But- So 16 years ago. Yes. I was a day before 18. Oh, my gosh, and did you go down, and how many people were there? Uh, so we had about f- three clubs to four, um, at the early days. Yeah. So we had about almost 20 players at CBC, like, um, the early days. Yeah, and when people describe integrated football to you, what does that mean? Um, it’s like an open arms. Um, people with intellectual disability, um, no other people have opportunities, like me and the others. Yeah. And w- um, very fortunately, CBC and integrated is like an open arms, and it calls family. It is family, isn’t it? And it’s like, ’cause you guys have a very special bond where you’re at, and what- Hmm disability do you live with, Kyron? Um, I have autism and a- also intellectual disability. Yeah, and then what’s your favorite part about playing footy, given you’ve been there for so long now? I know you’ve re- what’s your milestone you’re doing next year? Um, 200. That’ll be, like, next year. 200, and that is, that’s… What’s that? So that’s nearly 15 years. Yep. Um, that’s, like, uh, almost, um, 12 to 15 years, like- Oh … standard football. Wow. And integrated is, like, a, it’s a different concept. Wow, and then you have also done a lot of these state footy programs. How many do you know? How many you done? Um, I have done seven times since 2015. Yeah. Wow. And this is my eighth time. And what possey, what position do you play? Um, center half forward. I mean, center half back, sorry. You’re an actual, you’re a rock of the center half forward as well. I’ve seen you play. Have, did you ever play, um, no, center half back. Well, did you ever play in the forward line? Um, I have done forward before. Yeah. Just like the golden days. Yeah, and did you, um… What’s your preference? Um, I prefers, um, rock solid in the back line. Yeah. And then tell me what you love about… What do you love about coming down and joining this state thing? Is it being around people from d- different clubs, or is it being around a high performance? Um, i- I think it’s both, yeah. W- some, some people from clubs and some are new coming to try, like amat- um, the, the academy. Yeah. Cool. Awesome. Well, thank you so much, Kyron.
